I can't take credit for finding the solution. Even setting the elevation at 50 caused the loop to occur.

I used the old trial and error method and found that 45 was as high as I could go before the app would start the auto-record loop problem. The problem seems to have gone away (though I still prefer to have the app record only at a higher elevation). I saved the config file and restarted the app. I found the Record Elevation: 60 setting and adjusted it to 45. That's why re-installing didn't help.Īll I had to do was edit the config file using notepad. Uninstalling the app and re-installing did not delete the config file where the setting mentioned above is recorded. This hasn't been a problem for the last couple of weeks but for some reason it is now. Apparently the problem has to do with the fact I have the app set to auto-record and I set the record elevation at 60 degrees. In contrast, the Planar Disk is almost free and it performs quite well in an indoor setting. Just because an antenna "is sold" does not mean its good or even marginal. Please verify your dongle is working with a good antenna before complaining that you cannot receive something.
